Having given birth mid-PCS (translation for our non-military friends: Permanent Change of Station) and had a baby while her husband was TDY (translation: away for training), our founder, Kindra, personally understands the unique challenges of giving birth while far from home. Her passion for childbirth, lactation, and parenting combined with an intimate understanding through personal experiences of blooming wherever you are planted led to the foundation of Dandelion Birth & Beyond. ​

Kindra has had a long-time passion for mamas and their babies.
For over 20 years, she has supported mothers by caring for children and she is honored to continue serving families as a Birth Doula and Lactation Counselor while they transition into motherhood & beyond.
Through her own birth stories and experience walking alongside others, she has gained knowledge and exposure to natural childbirth with midwives in homes and hospitals as well as OB’s, high-risk pregnancies, induction, and NICU stays.
